In 2005, UC Irvine committed to developing a Center for Emeriti & Retirees (CER)  in keeping with the campus values of:

In just a few years, the Center has acquired dedicated space and a full complement of events and activities.  Coordinating with campus departments and colleagues has resulted in a myriad of services, discounts and many opportunities for our UC Irvine Retiree Community to keep in touch.

The UC Irvine Center for Emeriti & Retirees (CER) serves as the official connection between retired UCI emeriti, faculty and staff, their respective Associations, and the University.

 

We recognize that our many dedicated emeriti and retirees have contributed to the University’s mission and excellent reputation. We value retaining this experience, enthusiasm, and energy.
