Join us for a Holiday cooking demo class. The first half of the class will be learning to make “holiday gifts on a budget,” and the second portion you will learn how to give a “Recipe Makeover for your Holiday Favorites”. Learn how to read recipes and modify them to be healthier. Learn what can and can’t be substituted in recipes. Menu: Gifts- Orange Scented Chocolate Dipped Biscotti Caramel, how to make candies and dip with the same recipe. Recipe Makeover- Cranberry Apple Stuffed Turkey Roulade, have all your holiday favorites together in this healthy alternative and Healthy Scalloped Potatoes.

In Partnership with the Health Education Center, this is the fifth of five workshops in the "Relax Your Mind and Body" stress management series.
We explore laughter and having a positive attitude reduces your stress and improves your overall health. We also examine research behind the healing benefits of laughter and practicing gratitude. The relaxation exercise featured in this workshop is laughter yoga. Presented by Leigh Poirier Ball, Associate Director, Health Education Center.
