TEAM LEADER PROGRAM OVERVIEW

As a people leader at UCI, you play a key role in advocating, enabling, and sustaining our culture. You are essential to helping us realize our aspirations, and we want to invest in your development, growth, and engagement. The Leadership Success Program will help you explore and understand the expectations of your role by expanding your capabilities and mindsets to set direction, engage employees, and deliver results.

Leaders will be able to apply what they have learned immediately on the job and can continue to develop their skills through practice and dialogue with their accountability partners.

Participant Criteria

All people leaders with job codes Supervisor 1, Supervisor 2, or Manager 1 should attend this training series.

People leaders with the job title codes Professional 3, Professional 4, or Professional 5 with one or more direct reports are strongly encouraged to attend.

Qualified participants will receive an email invitation with further instruction on how to register for the program. If you believe you meet the participant criteria but you have not received an email invitation, please reach out to the Program Manager (see Contact section on this page.)

Location

All cohorts are offered virtually via Zoom.

Cost

As program sponsor, Human Resources is investing in you so that there is no cost to participants.

Program Format

• This interactive program meets once per week for ten weeks.
• Each session is bite-sized, where most sessions are three and a half hours long.
• Most sessions include two complimentary topics.
• Intersession work includes pre-prompt readings and weekly interactions with Accountability.
