EXPOSURE LOCATIONS

Effective January 1, 2024, consistent with updates to state requirements governing exposure notifications in the workplace, UCI has ended daily COVID-19 campus exposure location postings on the UCI Working Well webpage. UCI will continue to notify employee close contacts identified during employee case investigations.

STANDARD INFECTION CONTROL PRACTICES IN STATE SUPPORTED SPACES

Routine cleaning includes:

  • Cleaning frequently touched surfaces that are touched by many different people, light switches; handrails, elevator buttons and door handles
  • Dusting and wet mopping or auto scrubbing hard surface floors
  • Vacuuming entry ways and high traffic areas
  • Removing trash
  • Cleaning rest rooms
  • Cleaning spills
